To book your theory test, have your driving licence and a debit or credit card to hand and:
Phone 0300 200 1122
or visit: www.direct.gov.uk/drivingtest (on-line booking available 0600 to midnight, 7 days a week)
Be careful to choose the correct theory test - don't book a motor-cycle theory test by mistake.
Once you have booked your theory test, you will be loaned current, up-to-date teaching aids (books, DVDs and CD-Roms) free of charge.
When attending the theory test, you must have both parts of your driving licence and the appointment letter with you.
To book your practical driving test, have your driving licence, your theory pass certificate and a debit or credit card to hand - and it is essential that you quote my ADI No. 229057 when making the booking:
Phone 0300 200 1122
or visit: www.direct.gov.uk/drivingtest
When attending your practical driving test, you must have both parts of your driving licence, your theory pass certificate and the test confirmation letter with you. Find your theory pass certificate and paper section of your driving licence as soon as you've booked your practical test - don't leave it until the night before your driving test! Keep them together in a safe place.
If you fail to bring these items, you will not be able to take your test.
When your test confirmation arrives in the post, check it carefully as sometimes the date and time of your test may have been changed. Put the test confirmation letter in the same safe place as your other essential documents.
